Directions for approaching Ashrigg from the north, east or south start at the roundabout that is junction 47 of the A1(M). Take the exit from the roundabout for the A59 to Harrogate and Knaresborough. After 2.2 miles at the roundabout take the second exit onto the A658. Continue on this road for 2.5 miles and at the second roundabout take the third exit onto the A661 Wetherby Road. After 0.7 miles turn right into Forest Lane. After 0.4 miles turn left into Sherwood Drive (speed humps). After 0.3 miles turn right in Rothbury Close and first right. Ashrigg is on your right.

Approaching Ashrigg from the west, stay on the A59 until the roundabout on the Stray (Harrogate's open pasture land). Take the second exit from this roundabout onto the A661 Wetherby Road. After 0.8 miles turn left at the traffic lights onto Hookstone Chase. After 0.8 miles and just past the mini roundabout for Morrisons turn right into Sherwood Drive. Take the first left onto Rothbury Close and first right. Ashrigg is on your right.

From the centre of town (Railway station / Victoria shopping centre) take the A61 (Station Parade) for 0.4 miles until the traffic lights at the T junction. Turn left onto the A6040 (York Place) and continue for 0.7 miles to the roundabout. Take the third exit onto the A661 (Wetherby Road) and continue for 0.8 miles. At the traffic lights turn left onto Hookstone Chase and continue for 0.8 miles where just past the Morrisons mini roundabout you turn right into Sherwood Drive. Take the first left into Rothbury Close and first right again. Ashrigg is on your right.
